Services That Support Children, Youth & Families

Frontline Family Solutions offers a variety of programs designed to strengthen families, support young people, and promote healthy development. Our services focus on prevention, education, counseling, and community-based support.

Counseling

Frontline Family Solutions provides individual, family, and group counseling either in our office or onsite at school by trained, professional staff. There is no charge for these services. Space is limited and regular attendance is required.

Parents as Teachers

Parents as Teachers is a free and voluntary family resource and support program that provides home-based parent education and support services to families in McClain, Garvin, and Southern Cleveland county. Click here to check out our facebook page!

School Based Life-Skills

Botvin LifeSkills Training is a school-based substance abuse prevention program. Topics include communication, assertiveness, and self-image. Students in the seventh and eighth grade are able to learn and practice new skills in a safe environment. Each lesson lasts the duration of one class period and is the top-research based program in the country.

TSET Healthy Living Program

This program seeks to lessen the burden of unhealthy behaviors before they take root. Reducing the risk factors of tobacco use and obesity will save lives and money. This program has developed community awareness by beginning a farmers martket, educating through community awareness, and outreach opportunities in the local schools.​

​Nurturing Parenting Program

​Curriculum for this program uses Nurturing Parenting ​by Stephen J. Bavolek, Ph.D. Theories, references, and examples from Love and Logic may also be included. This is a twelve week program and meets weekly for 1 1/2 hours.

Child At Risk Services

Child At Risk Services (CARS) is provided statewide. This program is created for young people who are second-time offenders with a non-violent felony. ​ CARS does require a referral from Juvenile Services Unit, and the program can be from 3 to 6 months long depending if the risk is low, moderate, or high. The program involves counseling and mentoring for the young person and the main purpose is to shield and protect them from engaging in more serious activities

It's My Life

It's My Life' is a research-based curriculum provided by Frontline Family Solutions. 'It's My Life' engages young people and their parents in 12 hours or more of skill development classes emphasizing communication, anger management, problem solving, decision-making, values and understanding the consequences of their negative decisions.
